Role Overview
As a Quality/Food Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of our office and ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently.

The primary responsibilities will revolve around document control, managing food certificates and documentation, such as Certificates of Analysis, and performing various data administrative tasks as required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Document Control
Manage and maintain a systematic online filing system for all important documents and other business-related paperwork.
Draft/update procedures as per instructions.
Develop/update PIF's and specifications.


Data Administrative Tasks
Handle various administrative tasks involving data entry, data management, and generating reports to assist different departments within the organization. For example, log in complaints, PINs, update BOM, maintain registers etc.

Ad Hoc Tasks
Undertake any other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the office.

Completion of Raw Material Release Process 
Cross-check and validate paperwork related to raw materials.
Review best before dates to ensure proper alignment and compliance.
Execute the final release action in the system to approve materials for use.

Stakeholder Communication and Coordination
Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to gather and clarify documentation as needed.
Ensure all quality checks and approvals meet internal compliance standards.
Follow up with suppliers for missing or delayed documents (e.g. CoA's, PIN's, certificates etc.)

Internal Audits
Conduct desktop internal audits as per audit schedule. 

Qualifications: 
A bachelor's degree in food science/technology or a related discipline.
At least 3 years proven experience in QA or office administration or a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling important documents and data.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
