We're Hiring: Supply Chain Analyst (AU/US FMCG Experience)!

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst with specialised knowledge in Australian/US FMCG markets in supporting and optimising all aspects of the supply chain process. This role requires strong analytics, communication and the ability to influence. Performs data analysis to find trends, inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities in inventory management, production planning and demand management. The role also involves the preparation of comprehensive reports and scenario planning to anticipate and mitigate risks and provide insights that support both short-term and longer-term operational decisions.

What You'll Do:

You will work closely with cross-functional supply chain teams to support daily operations and improve process efficiency. You maintain and develop comprehensive reports across planning activities, inventory levels, and key supply chain metrics to support informed decision-making. By analysing operational data, you identify trends, highlight areas for improvement, and recommend cost-saving measures that enhance overall supply chain performance.

  • Data & Reporting: Maintain and configure master data in COGNOS and AX (MRP) to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment. Oversee Coles-specific order and distribution settings. Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the Coles VRP function with actionable insights, meet all departmental reporting requirements, and deliver ad hoc analytical reports to support business decisions.
  • Planning & Process Execution: Manage DIFOT reporting and analysis across daily to monthly cycles to identify improvement areas, conduct weekly planning and generate manufacturing batch orders in line with inventory policy, analyse inventory constraints and propose mitigation strategies to meet service targets, and support the refinement of planning processes through data-driven insights.
  • Performance Measurement: Input and adherence to weekly and monthly reporting processes, generate insights through in-depth analysis to support continuous supply chain improvement, ensure service levels are maintained or exceeded, and apply a strong understanding of business operations to influence value-driven decision-making.
  • Relationships & Behaviour: Understands full supply chain value, prioritises workload and escalates timely decisions / trade-offs. Build and maintain strong internal relationships to foster cross-functional collaboration, demonstrate understanding of end-to-end supply chain value while managing priorities effectively, set clear expectations and meet deadlines through accountability, handle challenges constructively to maintain professional relationships, and actively seek ways to close process gaps and improve efficiency with a proactive mindset.

What We're Looking For?

  • 5+ years supply chain analysis and inventory management.
  • Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or high-volume product environments highly preferred
  • Exposure to AU or US logistics processes and invoicing is a strong advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must (pivot tables, formulas, data tracking
  • Familiarity with MS Office and logistics/ERP platforms preferably SAP, and Power BI.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across departments
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
